The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe’s motto is ‘Service Above Self’ and it is one of the local organizations dedicated to doing active community service. On June 8, Bread & Broth was very fortunate to have the club members sponsor a “Monday Meal Adopt A Day of Nourishment” as part of their community outreach.
Rotarians Kathi Jensen, Julie Lucksinger, and Steve and Cynthea Preston arrived early and were eager to get started helping the Bread & Broth volunteers with the meal’s setup, serving, and cleanup.
